How much will it cost?
How are my documents stored?
All documents are stored on our secure cloud based server so they are accessible from any device you can log into Sure Will Writer from. Documents created or started on your desktop PC can be easily accessed or completed on your laptop or tablet for example… All you need is your secure unique use ID and password. All documents you create can also be downloaded as a PDF file and stored on your own PC.
How secure is Sure Will Writer?
We have taken the utmost care while developing the system and use multiple different techniques to mitigate the risk of any of data becoming compromised. Please contact us for more information.
Do you provide training on the system?
Full training on the system is provided regularly through the College of Will Writing. Full members of the Society of Will Writers also have access to unlimited technical advice via email who will happily provide support for the use of the system as well as more technical elements of drafting.
Is there any "downtime"?
As Sure Will Writer is a fully online system we will occasionally need to carry out scheduled maintenance for the users benefit. This can be from routine bug fixes to additions of new clauses and functionality. All scheduled maintenance is carried out during non-peak times for users, usually Sunday evenings, and only lasts up to 30 minutes. All users will be informed in advance of any scheduled maintenance.
Does the system require an Internet connection?
An internet connection is required to use the system as it is accessed through your internet browser. You can log into it from any computer, including mobile devices such as tablets.
Am I tied into a contract?
Yes, but only for one month at a time. You pay for a month (from the date you take out the software) and it will automatically renew. If you wish to cancel, simply cancel on your user account after logging in. It is a rolling contract.
What if I forgot my password?
It’s simple enough to reset. On the login page click ‘forgot password’, follow the onscreen instructions and reset your password from your emails.
Am I limited to creating a specific number of documents?
Sure Will Writer operates a ‘fair use policy’. Each individual will have their own unique login. This information should not be shared. Users are entitled to create as many documents on the system under their login. For more information please read the terms and conditions.
We have implemented a system which will log you out if someone else uses your login details. This is part of our fair use policy.

Does the system only create simple Wills?
No. Sure Will Writer – Professional Will Suite is cable of creating all manner of documents to suit the needs of your clients. The system includes SEV forms, precedents for Will based trusts as well as a whole lot more. Feel free to trial the system for free.
How do I register?

All you need to do is to complete the registration form on this website. This information will be submitted to the Sure Will Writer team. They will do the rest.
When our team set you up they will put your logo and company details onto the system so that you’re almost ready to go. You will just need to decide how you would like your documents to look and also set up your pipeline.
What does the ‘Free Will Check’ involve?
You submit your instructions and the Will you have produced for your client to our technical email address. Your advisor will respond within 3 working days with an analysis of the document ensuring that the wishes of the testator are correctly reflected in their Will.
What if I would like all my Wills checked?
This is not a problem. The Society of Will Writers technical advisors regularly check Wills for Sure Will Writer users and other full members. After your initial free checks you can opt for a chargeable service to give you added peace of mind. Email the technical team to find out what the ongoing cost per document is.
What is the difference between technical support and a ‘free Will check’?
Technical support includes administrative assistance for example resetting a password, understanding the navigation of the system, adding a beneficiary or executor or even how to add or edit a clause.
A ‘free Will check’ provides confidence that the document you have produced meets the needs of the testator and will be legally valid after being attested.
What format are documents produced in?
Documents will be produced in PDF format making it incredibly easy for you to save them on your secure system.
What happens if I change software supplier in future?
All your data is stored on the server for the duration of your subscription. Should you decide to cancel, simply log in and cancel to stop the next months renewal. All documents created on the system are available to download.
